Cheapest tools to find a competitor's supplier
These four tools help you look for a supplier. They do not do the same job. Alibaba and Global Sources are directories of suppliers you can contact. ImportYeti and ImportGenius search US customs shipment records to see who already ships goods. ImportGenius was added on 2026-11-04. Alibaba, Global Sources and ImportYeti were last checked on 2026-11-03 and were not reopened for this page.
| Tool | Best for | Verified starting price | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alibaba | Browsing manufacturers | Free to browse. Dollar amounts on the homepage are supplier product prices, not a software subscription | official pricing, checked 2026-11-03 |
| Global Sources | Buyer registration on a B2B sourcing site | Free buyer registration. Curl received HTTP 429 on 2026-11-03. The page that loaded in a browser said Register for free | official pricing, checked 2026-11-03 |
| ImportYeti | US customs records, with a free signup | Free signup. The homepage says Sign up free. https://www.importyeti.com/pricing returned a not-found page on 2026-11-03. Curl received HTTP 403 that day and again on 2026-11-04 | official pricing, checked 2026-11-03 |
| ImportGenius | US customs records on a published plan | USA Essentials from $229/mo, or $183/mo on the annual card, billed $2,198/yr. USA Pro is $449/mo, or $359/mo billed $4,310/yr. Global Enterprise is from $1999/mo and says talk to sales | official pricing, checked 2026-11-04 |
Cheapest first by the lowest verified price, including free signup. ImportYeti's pricing URL was a not-found page, so its row is the free signup on the homepage, not a paid plan. ImportGenius is the only one of the four with a published monthly software price. The annual toggle on that page says Save 20%. The Essentials annual card shows $183 per month beside $229/mo, and $2,198 billed yearly. $183 times 12 is $2,196, which is $2 less than $2,198. The Pro annual card shows $359 per month beside $449/mo, and $4,310 billed yearly. $359 times 12 is $4,308, which is $2 less than $4,310. The page calls the monthly figures a starting price.
